I love Canada. I love its passion, its purpose, and its hope. I joined the Canadian Club of Vancouver to be part of something that celebrates Canadian achievement and honours this great nation. As President of the Canadian Club of Vancouver, I hope to leverage the outpouring of national pride witnessed during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games to engage Canadians in celebrating artists, athletes, scientists and military heroes, and most importantly encourage another generation of patriots proud to call Canada home. The Canadian Club of Vancouver has over a one hundred year tradition of promoting unity and showcasing great Canadians who inspire young and old. My goals for the year ahead are to see Canadian flags in every home and office, and to lead Canadians in Vancouver in appreciating the heroic and honourable past and present actions of our Navy as it celebrates 100 years of dedicated service.
